There's never enough room! You all know what it's like, no matter how large your purse, closet or basement is........you're always trying to squeeze in just one more thing. It's exactly the same at the Beehive. Even though we are blessed with lots of space (for a yarn store anyway), we still can't find room for everything. Our challenge is to be able to offer you an ever-changing selection of the newest, most exciting yarns, while maintaining a constant supply of our staples...and fitting it all within our four walls!

Some of you may already be familiar with the Patons line. Their quality, value-priced Astra, Canadiana and Decor brands have been a constant on the Canadian yarn scene for well over a century. The Beehive would like to support this Canadian made (or finished in Ontario) line of products, and to be able to offer our customers easy access to a well-stocked inventory - but we have no room!

I'd, therefore, like to introduce www.BeehiveWoolShopOnline.com - a hopelessly long name I know, but what else could we possibly call it! This online store will operate out of our warehouse here in Victoria and provide you with access to the entire Patons yarn and pattern collection, plus specials available only online. Our prices are competitive with the chain stores, but our warehouse will always be well stocked no matter what the time of year. The online store is a valued part of the Beehive. Our excellent reputation for service, project support and customer satisfaction extends to all our customers - including those who buy online. The site is highly secure and easy to navigate. Purchases can be picked up at the Beehive with very little turn-around time or you can choose the option of having your yarn mailed to you.

While the warehouse will not be open to the public, we will continue to carry a wide selection of Patons yarns in the retail store.........just not as extensive as we are able to offer online.

New colours...new patterns...new yarns...something to get excited about!!

We've added a raft of new colours to our Classic Elite "Fresco" collection - one of our favourite yarns. Fresco has a wonderfully soft hand when it's knit, and the angora gives it a slight bloom.

Introducing new colours of Classic Elite "Alpaca Sox" hand dyes, kettle dyes and solids. Susan has it on her needles doing the Ishbel shawl by Ysolda. Half of her shawl has been blocked - it's still on the blocking wires, so you can see how truly effective they are!

Berroco "Vintage Chunky" just walked through the doors at the Beehive...this incredibly versatile yarn is machine washable and comes in enough colours to do everything from kids clothes to afghans. The range includes sophisticated heathery tones.

Berroco "Remix" - you can really feel the silk and linen in this washable aran weight yarn. Get lots of bulk without the weight, making it ideal for larger projects. Great pattern backup from Berroco...as always!
